Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research
Your Giving Day gift will support Creighton students engaging in interprofessional student activities through the Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (CIPER).
CIPER aims to cultivate leaders who act as moral agents and transform healthcare through interprofessional collaboration. Students are impacted by IPE activities and curriculum throughout their Creighton education. A few student reflections ...
“This experience provided a chance to better understand the importance of communication in an interprofessional setting and a better scope of the roles of different healthcare professions.”
“I will use the skills gained from this IPE experience to effectively navigate the best ways for communication and planning when working with other professions. This experience taught me a lot about being a leader when necessary and letting others lead when possible.”

About CIPER
The Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (CIPER) teaches students and clinicians to be high-quality healthcare professionals who can effectively work on a team.
By supporting interprofessional education and practice for nine health professions, we're shaping leaders in interprofessional education and collaborative practice for the future of care, grounded in Creighton’s Jesuit mission.
Faculty and students who engage in collaborative education understand that excellent patient care relies on the teamwork of health professionals. It requires time, energy, patience and a sustained effort to overcome many hurdles. Your contributions support these dedicated professionals, further their efforts and ensure Creighton graduates are ready to deliver the highest quality of care.
