Men's Golf – Premier Club Sport
Creighton’s premier club golf team competes at a high level against major universities across the Midwest. Team members have access to Omaha-area golf courses, as well as state-of-the-art golf simulators. Professional, qualified coaches work with students to improve their game and help them develop into successful collegiate golfers. Team members play 3 to 5 tournaments per semester and have an opportunity to qualify and compete for a national championship through the National Collegiate Club Golf Association. The Premier Men’s Golf team will be led by Coach James Dorsey.
How your gifts helps
Your support on Giving Day will help ensure a high quality, premier experience for student-athletes by providing them with quality uniforms, equipment, support services and practice facilities. In addition, funding will be used to support travel expenses associated with developing a competitive game schedule, regionally and nationally.
About Premier Club Sports
Building on the national success and rich tradition of Creighton athletics, Creighton University is excited to launch a new initiative, Premier Club Sports, in Fall 2025. Premier Sports will field men’s and women’s golf, ice hockey and lacrosse teams.
These collegiate sports teams will offer students a dynamic blend of high-level competition without the intense time demands of NCAA Division I athletics. With opportunities to compete at local, regional and national levels, these teams are ideal for athlete-minded students who want to maintain a strong connection to their sport while balancing academics and other aspects of college life.
Premier Club Sports will enhance the overall Creighton experience by allowing students to continue to grow in their sport, while developing the skills crucial for personal and professional success.
