College of Nursing

  • The College of Nursing serves more than 700 undergraduates and 250 master’s and doctoral students.

  • 99% of BSN graduates are employed, attending graduate or professional school, or participating in a postgraduate service program within six months of graduation.

  • Creighton BSN graduates meet or exceed the national average for first-time pass rates on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN ). For the past 5 years, the NCLEX pass rate was 93%.

  • Annual pass rates on the certification examination for nurse practitioner-track graduates are 100 percent for first-time test-takers.

  • The College of Nursing provides health assessments and health education to 9,000 Omaha public and parochial school students and staff.

  • The College of Nursing is ranked #31 in Best BSN Nursing Programs in the Nation by US News & World Report.
