College of Arts and Sciences – Honors Program

The College of Arts and Sciences Honors Program 20 year celebration has begun. The program engages motivated students and top faculty members in a community dedicated to seeking truth, advancing knowledge and resolving problems.

Through personal mentorship from Honors Program faculty and successful alumni, students craft highly individualized study programs tailored to their individual passions and intellectual curiosities.

Your gift will support honors students in becoming citizens who engage in the process of inquiry and apply their knowledge in service to society.

Your impact

"Since its inception in 2005, the Honors Program has supported students in remarkable academic achievements. With your help, we can fund summer research grants and student participation conferences so our students can present their spectacular research while preparing to serve as leaders in their fields."

— Jeffrey Hause, PhD, professor, Honors Program director

“The Honors Program helped me develop a strong sense of academic discipline. The hands-on experiences allowed me to produce work that I could call my own. My skilled and driven mentors inspired me and developed my passion for argumentation.

"Overall, the program shaped me in so many ways. I believe my academic career would be many steps back without the Honors Program."

— Lorenzo Riva, BS'20
