Phoenix – Physical Therapy Scholarships

With the support of donors like you, Creighton will change the face of health care in the Southwest and form a new generation of compassionate, well-trained professionals ready to meet the needs of our communities.

Since Creighton began its presence in Phoenix, a growing number of Creighton-educated providers have stayed in Arizona. Creighton also has a large network of health sciences alumni throughout the state.

Your support of scholarships will continue to bring tremendous students to Phoenix and infuse the area with some of the most real-world-ready physical therapists in the nation.

Extensive hands-on opportunities will prepare them for the field. Dedicated faculty and staff will ensure they flourish. A Jesuit-inflected humanities curriculum will inspire them not just to treat the illness but meet the needs of the whole person, in a spirit of service and compassion.

Our physical therapy students are here, learning and serving, because of you. Your scholarship support makes everything — this campus, this education, this mission — possible.

The student experience

"I joined the physical therapy program at Creighton because it was clear how much people care about making this a special experience for us. It didn't hurt that the campus building was brand new either!"

— Bella Racette, Class of 2025

The building was just the beginning

In 2021, hundreds of students, faculty and staff walked into a beautiful new building in midtown Phoenix. This building, this moment, was both the culmination of a dream and the answer to a question: How can we help?

How can we deepen our longtime ties to a city’s medical community into something greater? How can we infuse more healthcare professionals into a state that needs them now?

In the end, the answer was a beacon, a new home for the Creighton health sciences in Phoenix—the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust Health Sciences Building.

In the short time it’s been open, the campus has already drawn hundreds more medical, nursing, pharmacy, physician assistant, physical therapy and occupational therapy students to the city.

At full enrollment, the Creighton University Health Sciences Campus in Phoenix will accommodate about 1,000 students, including physical therapists and other healthcare professionals, to help meet the state’s booming population and the growing needs of aging and diverse demographics.

What is Giving Day?

It’s the day you make a difference for Creighton University.

The day you can support our most immediate areas of need.

The day thousands of donors like you come together to make a huge collective impact, one gift at a time.

P.S. — Your gift will also support Creighton's historic Forward Blue fundraising campaign!
