Physical Therapy Scholarships

Scholarships are the most pressing fundraising priority in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions (SPAHP).

When you support scholarships, you help us attract and retain excellent students in a very competitive time for recruitment. You directly improve the lives of Creighton students who exemplify the Jesuit values of our mission, helping them join the next generation of leaders in healthcare.

Most Creighton students rely on financial aid. Scholarships allow them to thrive in their professions. They give them a transformative sense of belonging, purpose and personal growth.

"Because of my scholarships and other opportunities supported by donors, I’m getting to do what feels like my life’s purpose. I am grateful to donors for opening the door for me to attend Creighton."
— Denise Jaramillo, Class of 2025

A top-ranked program

Our graduates leave Creighton as competent and compassionate healthcare professionals ready to lead.

Our program is No. 9 in U.S. News and World Report's ranking of the nation's best physical therapy programs.

Founded in 1992, our PT program was the first entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in the United States. That means we’ve been teaching at the clinical doctoral level longer than any other program.

Today, you’ll find a physical therapy program offering an integrated curriculum and technologically advanced lab and classroom spaces as we strive to demonstrate leadership in the theory and development of this profession.

About the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions

We believe that right now, more than ever, the world needs Creighton-educated healthcare professionals.

In the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, we continue to innovate in the health sciences, preparing and equipping our students to be not just pharmacists, physical therapists and occupational therapists but Creighton pharmacists, Creighton physical therapists, and Creighton occupational therapists.

Our graduates have a profound sense of privilege of care for all we serve — compassionate care for our patients with an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. Long after graduation, they continue to give back and truly live cura personalis.

What is Giving Day?

It’s the day you make a difference for Creighton University.

The day you can support our most immediate areas of need.

The day thousands of donors like you come together to make a huge collective impact, one gift at a time.

P.S. — Your gift will also support Creighton's historic Forward Blue fundraising campaign!
