Paramedicine Education – Scholarships
Your gift will support a paramedicine-specific scholarship fund and help with tuition expenses for our excellent students. Gifts of all sizes will make a difference for Creighton paramedicine students, the patients they serve and the lives they save.
Challenge Announcement!
If 10 donors make a gift to the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program, an additional $2,500 will be unlocked to support the program. This challenge is made possible thanks to the generosity of former program director and faculty member Mike, BSEMS'07, MS'10, EDD'14, and wife Nancy, BS'22, Miller.
Our mission
Paramedicine personnel respond to medical emergencies in the community, including isolated incidents, disaster response and humanitarian aid. Our mission is to provide high-quality paramedicine education that empowers students to become skilled, compassionate care providers who value education as a lifelong process.
“The philosophy of the program is just different. It teaches not just … ‘find the problem, treat the problem.’ Creighton teaches you to understand the problems that could occur, find them, fix them and then set the patient up for the best case in the long run.”
— Emma Zeratsky, BSEMS'21
About the Paramedicine Education Program
Creighton began educating paramedicine personnel in 1974, with one of the first paramedicine programs in the nation.
Today, we are among a few dozen programs in the country offering a Bachelor of Science degree in EMS, and one of even fewer universities with a Master of Science degree in EMS. Your gift will help students cover the cost of this exemplary education.
